Clinical Supervision

Hi, I’m Uruj (she/her) — a BACP Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a thriving online private practice, CPCAB lecturer, Speaker, and former Genetic Counsellor. Rooted in Attachment Psychotherapy, my work offers a compassionate space for reflection and growth, including clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists.

Supervision, for me, is a relationship — one that supports you in deepening your therapeutic presence, developing confidence in your work, and staying connected to your own wellbeing. It’s a warm, reflective space where you can bring not only your client work, but also your inner world as a therapist — the places of uncertainty, the moments of resonance, and the stories that linger after a session.

I integrate several supervision models to meet you and your practice where you are. The Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision helps us explore the therapeutic process from multiple perspectives — the client, the therapist, the relationship between you, and the wider system around your work. The Functional Model by Inskipp and Proctor guides us through the three core functions of supervision — formative (learning and growth), normative (ethical and professional standards), and restorative (support and wellbeing). All of this sits within an attachment-based framework, where our supervisory relationship becomes a secure base for curiosity, honesty, and integration.

Together, we’ll attend to your development as a practitioner — holding both your professional identity and your personal story with care. I bring experience from working with young people, parents of children with life-limiting conditions, perinatal clients, and individuals affected by genetic diagnoses. These experiences shape the compassion and containment I offer in supervision.

I particularly welcome counsellors who are exploring themes of identity, attachment and early relationships, cultural context, perinatal mental health, or complex grief — and those who wish to deepen their understanding of relational depth in therapy.
