Uruj Anjum, Online Psychotherapist, BACP Accrediated

We’re really glad you’ve found your way here. Saiyna Therapy is a specialist online counselling and Psychotherapy service for people living with the emotional weight of genetics, pregnancy, parenthood, and loss.  You might be navigating a genetic diagnosis, pregnancy after loss, complex family decisions, or the quieter griefs that don’t always have words.

White Structure

Our Story

Saiyna Therapy was founded to bridge the gap between medical knowledge and psychological impact. Many people in the UK live with genetic risk, inherited conditions, or perinatal complexity; we hope to provide a space to process the emotional and relational impacts.

Our team brings together backgrounds in genetic counselling, nursing, and psychotherapy, allowing us to work with both the known and the unknown. We have specialist understanding of genetics and inherited conditions, including Huntington’s disease, and how these realities can affect identity, relationships, decision-making, and family dynamics across generations.

Our work is grounded in attachment-based psychotherapy. This means we pay close attention to relationships, past and present, and how experiences such as genetic diagnosis, medical trauma, pregnancy, parenting, and loss shape the nervous system, sense of self, and capacity for connection. We support you to explore these layers at your own pace, with sensitivity to culture, family history, and lived experience.
