Clinical Supervision

Uruj Anjum, Online Counsellor, BACP Registered

Hi, I’m Uruj (she/her)- a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a thriving online private practice, CPCAB Level 5 lecturer, and former genetic counsellor. Rooted in Attachment Psychotherapy, my work offers a compassionate space for growth, including clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists.

I bring this broad experience to my clinical supervision practice, offering support through an attachment lens. Having worked with young people, parents of children with life-limiting conditions, clients coping with loss, perinatal clients, and those affected by genetic diagnoses, I provide a compassionate and informed space for counsellors and therapists to grow.

In supervision, I offer a warm, reflective, and collaborative space where you can explore your client work, your self as a therapist, and your professional identity. I draw on the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision, which allows us to view your clinical work through multiple lenses — including the client-therapist relationship, your internal process, the wider context, and the parallel dynamics at play. This integrative approach supports depth, ethical awareness, and sustainable growth in your practice.

I especially welcome counsellors working with identity, attachment & early relationships, cultural context, and complex grief — or those looking to deepen their understanding of attachment and relational depth in therapy.

Time-Limited Reduced Rate – From September 2025

As I complete my clinical supervision training, I’m offering reduced-fee sessions for a limited number of supervisees:

  • 45-minute session: £40

  • 90-minute session: £70

These rates will be available until June 2026, after which standard supervision fees will apply.

My Approach

Uruj Anjum, Online Counsellor, BACP Registered

I'm a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their ethical standards to ensure safe and compassionate care. I offer flexible, one-to-one online therapy, creating a supportive and confidential space for you.

My approach is centered around building a trusting and supportive relationship, which is key to helping you explore and work through your challenges. I also use a range of practical tools, like helping you understand how your thoughts and feelings are connected (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), looking at patterns in how you relate to others (Transactional Analysis), and teaching you ways to stay present and calm through mindfulness techniques. Together, we'll find the best ways to support you and your unique needs.
