Online Couples Therapy
Understanding what happens between you
Most couples do not come to therapy because they have stopped caring.
They come because the ways they try to protect themselves, reach one another or manage difficult experiences are no longer working.
You may be caught in the same arguments.
You may feel more like carers, co-parents or household managers than partners.
Or your relationship may have been changed by grief, diagnosis, fertility treatment, pregnancy, caregiving or an uncertain future.
Couples therapy offers a space to slow these patterns down, understand what is happening beneath them and find different ways of reaching one another.

Finding the right kind of support
Couples Therapy
Fee: £115 per 60-minute session
Attachment-focused support for couples experiencing disconnection, recurring conflict, grief, uncertainty, caregiving pressures or significant life changes.
I welcome couples of all backgrounds, cultures, faiths, sexual orientations and relationship experiences, offering an affirming space where both partners feel respected, heard and understood.
Couples may come to therapy because of
-
recurring arguments that never feel resolved;
-
emotional distance or loss of connection;
-
difficulty communicating needs;
-
different responses to stress, grief or uncertainty;
-
trust ruptures;
-
changes following pregnancy or becoming parents;
-
miscarriage, TFMR or baby loss;
-
fertility treatment, IVF or PGT-M;
-
a genetic diagnosis or inherited risk;
-
anticipatory grief or progressive illness;
-
caregiving pressures;
-
changes in intimacy;
-
conflicting family or cultural expectations;
-
decisions about children or the future;
-
feeling stuck in roles that neither partner knows how to change.
You do not need to wait until your relationship is at breaking point.
Couples therapy can also help when you care deeply about one another but have lost a sense of how to feel close, understood or safe together.
How I work
My approach is relational, attachment-based and integrative.
I work with couples through an attachment-informed lens, helping you understand the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Together, we explore how life experiences, grief, stress, inherited challenges and unmet emotional needs shape your relationship, creating space for greater understanding, connection and lasting change.
Our work may involve:
-
identifying the cycle that keeps you stuck;
-
slowing down difficult conversations;
-
understanding the fears beneath anger, criticism or withdrawal;
-
helping each partner communicate more openly;
-
recognising how earlier relationships affect the present;
-
making room for grief and difference;
-
rebuilding emotional safety;
-
supporting more thoughtful decision-making;
-
strengthening connection and responsiveness;
-
exploring whether and how the relationship can move forward.
My role is to remain attentive to the relationship and help both of you understand what happens between you.
