Research-informed training that bridges attachment, genetics, grief, identity and relationships. Uruj helps professionals feel more confident with the complex conversations that enter the therapy room.
Why Train with Uruj
My training encourages therapists to think more deeply about the emotional, relational and systemic experiences clients bring into therapy. Drawing on nearly a decade in NHS clinical genetics alongside attachment-based psychotherapy, supervision and teaching, each workshop combines research, clinical experience and practical application. Whether you're supporting individuals, couples or families, the aim is always the same: to help you feel more confident holding complexity with compassion.

Research- Informed
Grounded in current evidence, clinical practice and lived experience.

Relational
Attachment, identity and relationships remain at the centre of every conversation.

Practical
Leave with ideas you can confidently integrate into your practice.

What Professionals Say
"Great session. Very engaging & inclusive. Time flew by, and Uruj's enthusiasm for the topic really shone through."
Counsellor, The Maypole Project
''I thought Uruj communicated clearly and effectively. She invited engagement, but also kept to time. Overall, she inspired me to learn more and I would definitely attend another workshop presented by her.'' Attendee, Online Events.
"I hugely appreciated having Uruj as my tutor. As well as her in-depth understanding of attachment theory I felt she held our group with warmth, and brought a calm and steady energy. This was the most well-organised counselling training course I've attended and it has transformed my practice. " KR, Level 5 Student 25-26
“First of all, I would like to express my thanks to Uruj who modelled and instilled in me how a secure base feels and what this means in relation to the therapeutic relationship. This I feel is at the heart of all we do as counsellors with our clients. I found the feedback from any written work was always concise, insightful, meaningful, and constructive.
I feel that delivering a course solely on Zoom is a challenge, but Uruj, somehow managed the dynamics of that, which enabled deep meaningful relationships between the group members in breakout rooms and group discussions to emerge...this is no easy feat!" L, Level 5 Student 25-26
