2026 CPD Series

I’m currently developing a series of genetics-informed CPD workshops and trainings for counsellors, psychotherapists, supervisors, and helping professionals.

These trainings are designed to bridge the gap between genetics, attachment, trauma, identity, and emotional wellbeing, helping therapists feel more confident when genetics enters the therapy room.

Grounded in research, clinical experience, and relational practice, the CPD will offer thoughtful, accessible learning that connects genetics with the lived emotional experience of individuals and families.

Upcoming CPD Topics:

  • Ambiguous Loss

  • Drawing Genograms

  • Genetics in the Therapy Room

  • Working with Genetic Testing Anxiety

  • Pregnancy, IVF, PGT & Genetic Decision-Making

  • Culture, Genetics & Intergenerational Stories

  • The Emotional Impact of Living “At Risk”

  • Introducing The S.A.I.Y.N.A.™ Framework for Therapists

 CPCAB Training

I’ll be teaching on Thursdays as part of the CPCAB Level 7 Diploma in Attachment-Focused Psychotherapeutic Counselling at Optima Health Services.

This advanced training is designed for experienced counsellors and psychotherapists who are wanting to deepen their clinical practice, develop greater therapeutic mastery, and work towards senior accreditation and higher ScopeEd recognition.

The course offers a pathway to clinical supervision, attachment-based couples counselling, advanced trauma,  and research.

A range of study days are available; my teaching group runs on Thursdays 9:30-13:30.

Applications are now open for the 2026–2027 online cohort, running from September 2026 to June 2027 (term time only).
